I don't get outside often enough, being normally couped up inside working on the website or some other computer problem. Seeing the sun again was a great feeling.
Hesperia lake park is a good place to be, its large enough to find some alone time even with lots of other patrons visiting and walking about. I picked a spot close to the playground so my kids could have a little fun. With a jacket the weather was not too cold today. The sun was setting behind me, so its rays served to offer up some heat. So far I have only read the first twenty pages of Edward Gibbon's decline and fall of the roman empire, but he writes like no other historian I have previously read. Reading his words is a little like gently flowing down a stream, with a eloquent guide softly pointing out the features and attractions. The prose is smooth, and the thoughts carefully chained from first to last. This will be a good book.
