It is April 10, and the police scanner is still not working.
What's the hold up?
Really love listening and miss it a lot.

Looks to me like no one is monitoring the status of this scanner, its been at least a few weeks, no scanner, and no replies as to what is going on...

the scanner either isnt working now, or there are already 10 people on. when I click play it goes back like its not letting me in

If the scanner was working earlier, the problem was probably a temporary crash on the audio server. Actually, I have it on good account that the webmaster temporarily stopped the server, got distracted, and forgot to restart it for about 3 hours.
Currently right now the scanner is working. This is at 2008.03.09 1128 pacific time.
I don't know why its saying you don't have flash installed. Maybe the next time you are on the webmaster can do some work with you to figure out why the help page is reporting that.

I had scanner working earlier but now it has stopped and in your help section it says i have no flash what gone wrong??

I am on a quest to the deepest darkest corners of my room in search of what some would call "a floor" a long and difficult task awaits me. Wish me luck my friends for a may not return alive.

Ok, the good news is that the Victorville police scanner is back online! Yay! At least its pretty much back online, you must have flash to hear anything. Also, the feed is up to 22kbps and there is a maximum connection count of 10.
The feed will (should) automatically start when you hit the police scanner page. You will not see any controls, its hidden in an invisible iframe.
The bad news is that in order to get the scanner back online, I had to destroy the rest of the site, all images, user accounts, blogs etc.. are history.. oh well :-(
If you are interested in posting you will have to create a new account.
Don't be suprised if you see some (alot?) of bugs in the next few weeks!!
